Aurora is the President and Owner of Aurora Tancock Financial Services, and her office is located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Along with her team, she strives to work together with her clients to help them understand and overcome complexity when planning for their financial future.
Aurora received her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2009 and has over 30 years of experience in financial services. She began her career with Prudential Insurance as an administrative manager, a position she kept when Prudential sold its Canadian operations to London Life in 1996.
In 1999 she made a major decision to resign her administrative role and became a financial security advisor. In 2000, her first full year as an advisor, she qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). She is now a 21-year MDRT member with 10 Court of the Table and 1 Top of the Table qualifications. She has served on various MDRT Committees including being appointed Divisional Vice President for the Program General Assembly for the Annual Meeting in 2015, Global Council Member for the Finance Division in 2020 and is currently the Assistant Chair for the Program Development Committee for the 2022 Annual Meeting in Boston.
She gives back to her community through the Rotary Club of St. Catharines.
Of all her achievements, the one that she is most proud of is having raised, along with her husband Dave, 2 exceptional young men, their sons Chris & Steven and now proud grandparents of their two year old grandson, Evander.
